For the second part of my Madrid posts I decided to share my favorite places for food and drinks with you. Those who follow me on Instagram will definitely recognize some places, and of course if you know me a little bit you know that burgers will be included, haha.

Manuela

At this nice place we had breakfast the first day. Good coffee and good croissants, just what we needed. And it’s located in the lovely neighborhood Malasaña.

Valentinas & coffee

This is a perfect place to have breakfast as well, or to just take a break in the afternoon and have some delicious “Valentinas”, which a cute little cupcakes in all sorts of colors and flavors.

La H es muda

At this place we had dinner with all our friends from Belgium. As a burger addict I must admit that the burgers we had here were just de-li-cious! Seriously. And the waiter was really fun as well! This was a great night.

Tako-AWAY

This is a great place if you’re craving those delicious nachos with guacamole, pico de gallo, cheese and peppers (like us) or other mexican food. It’s more for having a quick bite but it tastes very good! Oh and you can find these all over Madrid.

Ojalá

This cafe has a very special but nice atmosphere. It’s nice to have lunch, but also to have some drinks and talks with friends. Downstairs there’s even a little beach where you can just sit and relax. It’s very popular so if you want to find a spot you should go early enough!

The Tartan rooftop bar

One of my absolute favorite places was the Tartan rooftop bar. The atmosphere was so laid back and the view was amazing! And let’s not forget about the delicious drinks and the good company and music. A perfect escape from the busy city life. Really a must when in Madrid!
