Caudalíe is one of my favorite brands – maybe even my favorite – when it comes to skincare products. When I was younger I almost always went for the same brand of beauty products. When I became older I realised it wouldn’t do any harm to stop playing save and trying out other brands and products as well, and now my daily and weekly beauty routines exist for a very big part of Caudalíe products. The last pieces added to my skincare collection are these scrubs and facemasks that you can mix and match perfectly to get a pretty and healthy skin.
There are two scrubs: one is a deep cleansing exfoliator with touches of grape and mint and the other one is more a gentle buffing cream with jojoba and acacia honey. I have to say that the deep cleansing exfoliator also feels very gentle, with tiny “micrograins” as Caudalíe calls them. If I have to choose I would say I prefer the deep cleansing one since my skin tends to get greasy easily, but honestly I just like to switch between those two. Especially now it’s getting colder outside I think the softer version will be very good for my skin.
After the scrub I use a face mask. Caudalíe’s collection has 4 different ones: one that hydrates intensely, one for radiance, one that cleanses and minimizes pores and the last one to clarify and purify. Again I love to change depending on the state my skin is in, but I mostly use the last two to really create that healthy shine and feeling without greasiness.
The last product I wanted to share with you is the elixir de beauté from the collaboration of Caudalíe with Jason Wu. This elixir is for spraying on our skin to fixate make-up and to hydrate. The smell is really special and even gives me a little boost of energy when I use it. I also really like the elegant design, it’s perfect to take with you in your handbag if you ask me.
