At the beginning of the week I was invited to the presentation of the new Caudalíe Vinosource presentation. I don’t think I have to introduce this skincare brand to you, but to give some background explanation about the new Vinosource line I thought I’d be interesting to know where ‘Caudalíe’ actually comes from.
“A caudalie [kodali] is a unit measuring the duration of the wine’s flavour on the palette. For each second the flavour remains this is a caudalie. A quality wine will contain many caudalie’s“.
I think it’s clear that this brand is all about the South of France and vineyards, and I just love that idea. But let’s talk about their new Vinosource collection now. It’s all about hydrating and moisturizing, and the central ingredient in this whole line is bio grape juice from the South of France. My personal favorite products from the line are the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, which pulls into the skin almost immediately. Also the Vinosource Moisturizing Matifying Fluid is one of the products I’ve used the most since I got it. It makes my skin look almost flawless and gives it an amazing smooth look and feel. The last favorite is the Organic Grape Water. I’ve always loved watery spray products on my face because it feels like an immediate energy boost to kind of ‘wake you up’. This one is obviously the best one I tried so far. It not only gives that feel, it also hydrates, reduces redness and irritations. I can keep on being positive about this collection, so if you’ve become curious you can find everything about it here or in your local pharmacy.
To end this long post (I’m writing my bachelor thesis so that’s the way my brain is working right now) I’d like to talk about the event itself. It all took place in my (second) home city Brussels, and the venue was just stunning! There was so much light, with flowers and balloons everywhere. We had a presentation about the new line and after that we had delicious sushi, French wine, and even dessert. We also did a little workshop in which we made some sort of hanging plants, so pretty and fun! So special thanks to Caudalíe, We Love Pure and fellow bloggers Marjolein, Pauline and Nikki for the great company!
